Who we are
Morales Garage Door Repair is a residential garage door repair and installation business at 22 Northwest Blvd, Nashua, NH 03063. What we collect, and why
We collect only what we need to quote for work, carry it out, and be able to answer a question about it afterwards. In practice that is:
- Your name, phone number and email address, so we can call you back and confirm an appointment.
- The address of the garage we are being asked to look at, so we can get there.
- What you tell us about the door — the make and age, the symptom, the history — because that is the diagnosis.
- A record of the work we did and what it cost, kept so that a later question about a part or a price can actually be answered.
We do not collect payment card details through this website. We do not ask for a Social Security number, a date of birth or any financial information, and you should treat any message claiming to be from us that does ask for those as fraudulent.
What this website itself collects
This site is a set of static pages. It has no accounts, no login, no shopping cart and no comment section. It sets no advertising or analytics cookies of its own, and it does not build a profile of you.
Two things are worth naming plainly. First, the contact form on our contact page does not send anything anywhere by itself: it composes a message in your own email application with what you typed already filled in, and nothing leaves your device until you press send in that application. Second, the map on our contact and home pages is a Google Maps embed. When it loads, Google receives your IP address and can set its own cookies, under Google’s privacy policy rather than ours. The map is loaded lazily, so it only does this if you scroll far enough down the page to reach it.
Our web server keeps ordinary access logs — the requesting IP address, the page requested, the time, and the browser’s user-agent string — as every web server does. Those are used to keep the site running and secure, and are not used to identify you or combined with anything else.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, and we do not pass it to marketing companies or lead-generation services. We share it only where the job requires it: with a parts supplier when a section or a specific spring has to be ordered against your door, and with our accountant and, if it ever came to it, with law enforcement or a court where the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not turn into work are deleted within about a year. Records of work we carried out — the invoice and what was fitted — are kept for seven years, which is what our accountant and the tax rules require, and because a customer asking in year four what spring we fitted is a question we would like to be able to answer.
Asking us to delete it
Email us at contact@moralesgaragedoor.site or call (603) 709-6638 and ask. We will tell you what we hold, correct anything wrong, and delete anything we are not required by law to keep. We do not charge for this and we will not make you fill in a form to do it.
Children
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information we will change this page and update the date at the top of it. There is no mailing list to be removed from, so the page itself is the record.
